Eco Swift Pro 10′ 4wt

The Eco Swift Pro 10′ 4wt is our first new fly rod for 2022. The thought process and design ethos behind this exciting new fly rod are to allow anglers to get the best of both worlds when it comes to Czech/Euro nymphing as well as general bank casting and dry fly applications.

The Eco Swift Pro slots in below the dedicated TechNymph range but above that of the standard Eco Swift II range. We approached the rod form with this in mind, using the down locking reel seat to balance the 10-foot length but adjusting the guides to more traditional spacing when compared to a dedicated Euro nymph fly rod. The Eco Sift Pro is a great starting place for fly anglers looking to fish a multitude of different disciplines due to its well-rounded design, competitive price point, and easy use breakage policy.

The soft tip, length, and thin half wells grip make for a great tight line nymphing rod. The guide placement and medium-fast action allow the rod to accurately cast a smooth line for both nymphs and dry flies alike.

We focused heavily on creating a fly rod that encompasses a clean, simple, and functional form. The choice of the black hardware and muted matt black blank reduces rod flash. A deep burled wooden insert for the reel seat is not only lightweight but also makes each rod unique in its styling. A small crushed cork fighting butt helps to counterbalance the rod along with the down locking reel seat.

Each rod includes a 4 compartment rod bag and slimline 50mm rod tube which makes for easy packing and lightweight travel should you be heading out with a few rods strapped to your backpack.
