TroutFit Combo:

A smooth easy casting Eco Swift fly rod paired with a robust and functional Eco Swift fly reel makes this a great setup for anglers looking to step into the sport but also with longer-term usage in mind. Unlike most other combos that are on offer, where the reels are plastic or graphite, the rod is a slow sloppy noodle, and the line with more memory than is imaginable, our combos use the same quality products that we personally use!

Fly Rod:

The 9′ version of the Eco Swift III fly rod range is considerably faster action-wise when compared to the 10′ version. This makes it ideally suited for casting and float tubing for Trout in Dullstroom and the Midlands.

Fly Line:

A floating line is always a good place to start as “you can always make a line sink, but you can’t make it float!” A floating line is also useful when nymphing, and can be adapted to fish a huge variety of mid-depth waters with ease.

Fly Reel:

Our Eco Swift fly reels are sturdy, are fully aluminum and have a carbon fiber-based drag system that needs no real maintenance, and are smooth enough to fish light tippets with confidence.
