PacBay Single Foot Guides

PacBay (Pacific Bay) Single foot guides are much like snake guides but with only a single point that needs to be wrapped and epoxied. A lot of lighter weight fly rods utilize single foot guides due to their look and feel, an argument can also be made for the fact that you only have one set of glue/wrapping that can help to reduce weight and in so doing increase responsiveness and action. When making your choice as to the guides for your custom fly rod, choose what you prefer as this is what building a custom rod is all about. Performance will be almost identical when choosing between single foot or snake guides.
