Fly line backing is your backup capacity for when you hook a fish of a lifetime and your line rapidly peels away. Our braided PET-based backing is exceptionally strong and has a low diameter yet very high abrasion resistance. Fly backing also fills your fly reel to increase retrieval and can even aid in balancing out a fly rod when building the perfect Euro nymph setup.
