Unreel 12′ Tapered Leaders

Unreel tapered leaders start with a thick end that joins to your fly line and ends with a thin tip to tie to your tippet. This allows for a smooth transition of energy from your fly line through the leader and ultimately to your fly, this translates into a well-presented fly that lands softly, straight, and in the desired location.

Our Unreel Leaders are further improved through the use of copolymer nylons that offer incredible strength and easy tying suppleness. All Unreel Leaders are non-looped to allow for a host of connections that suit you best.

Leader Selection

12′ leaders are great middle-ground leaders, that lend themselves well to the finer presentation as well as still being able to turn over a fairly large fly.
