Aluminium Rod Tubes – Made In SA

Our custom fly rod tubes are designed and made here in SA. We use only the finest grade 6081 aluminium for the caps, base and sleeve to ensure strength and to protect your beloved fly rod. Each tube is round and 50mm in diameter, which allows for thin light packing as well as being easy to strap to your backpack.

Tube lengths available are for 4 piece fly rods:

• 585mm tube
• 660mm tube
• 700mm
• 9′  – 735mm tube

The machined aluminium caps, base and threaded section were designed to be as thin and light as possible but without sacrificing strength.

Our fly rod tubes have a diameter of 50mm and we have used them on rod weights all the way up to 8wt 9′. Large fighting butts and oversized stripping guides will need to be packed opposite to each other in the tubes in order to fit well. All fly rods from 1wt through to 7wt will have no issues packing into the tubes with ease.
