Aluminium Fly Rod Tubes | Made In SA

Our custom fly rod tubes are designed and made here in SA. We use only the finest grade 6081 aluminium for the caps, base, and sleeve to ensure strength and to protect your beloved fly rod. Each tube is round and 50mm in diameter, which allows for thin light packing as well as being easy to strap to your backpack.

Beautifully anodised in matt black with striking polished aluminium caps, collar, and stopper. Each tube is hand assembled in South Africa.

Tube lengths available are for 4-piece or 2-piece fly rods:

• The machined aluminium caps, base, and threaded section were designed to be as thin and light as possible but without sacrificing strength.

• Proudly designed and manufactured in South Africa.

Our fly rod tubes have a diameter of 50mm, and we have used them on rod weights all the way up to 8wt 9′. Large fighting butts and oversized stripping guides will need to be packed opposite to each other in the tubes in order to fit well. All fly rods from 1wt through to 7wt will have no issues packing into the tubes with ease.

Our bespoke range of rod tubes has been exported to some of the UK and USA’s most decorated custom rod builders. We accommodate custom projects and can make tubes to specific needs however, an MOQ is in place. Please reach out to us should you want to pursue a project like this.
