T1 – tip
T2 – section below the tip
T3 – section above the tip
The V2 10′ 4wt features a slightly softer overall action compared to the original model and remains fully interchangeable with previous generations. However, when ordering individual sections, we strongly recommend pairing the V2 T2 section with the matching V2 T1 tip section.
Mixing a softer V2 T2 with the stiffer original T1 will create an inconsistent flex profile, resulting in an undesirable curve and placing unnecessary stress on the ferrule and mid sections over time. For optimal performance and longevity of your rod, use matched V2 T1 and T2 sections together.
